Thermal protection
Depending on your needs and the configuration of your building, the Infiniglass teams will be able to advise you on the appropriate glazing.
The heat exchange through glazing, or the amount of energy lost between the inside and outside, corresponds to the Ug coefficient, expressed in watts per square meter per degree Kelvin (W/m²K). The lower the coefficient, the better the thermal insulation. For standard double glazing, the Ug coefficient is 1.1 W/m².K.
In comparison, single glazing will have a Ug coefficient of around 6 W/m2.K.
For solar control, the important value is the g-value, the solar charge. It indicates the amount of solar heat retained outside.
Feel free to contact us for reinforced thermal insulation glass, for example the Planitherm, Cool-Lite or Planistar ranges from Saint-Gobain.
